I was a professional colleague and friend of Aram's. We met at a company called OMRON in Sunnyvale, California in the late 1970's. I very much enjoyed Aram, for his zany sense of humor, his New York City mindset, and all around nice guy. He moved into a house on Brooklyn Avenue in San Jose. I lived a couple of blocks away on the same street, so I got to visit him often. Even after I married and moved away, I would visit him occasionally in his retirement, and we would reminisce about our work together in various places in Silicon Valley. Aram was a very generous man. Even after his vision problems became severe, he would donate his time in community service, helping out those less fortunate than him. Aram was a great guy, I miss him.
